This wild grown Sumac (Rhus coriaria) from Gaziantep, Turkey is chopped and packed in salt instead of hand drying. It has a vivacious flavor with notes of Sour Cherries, Vinegar, and Sunny Acidity. Known for heart-opening and Yin activation it reduces fire and boosts women's health overall. A classic Middle Eastern finishing spice which can be used in place of lemon juice, lemon peel and zest in any recipe.
